Using Google Drive on Ubuntu Linux

Note: Your experience using other Linux releases may vary.

Access via a web browser

The easiest way to access your google drive is to use a web browser like Google Chrome or Firefox.

Open the browser and go to https://drive.google.com/

If you haven't logged into Google before you should see the landing page shown below. Click the 'Sign in' button.

Otherwise you will get the Choose an account page.

You will then see the Google sign in dialog.

Sign into Google. If using your NDSU provided Google Drive account, enter your NDSU email address in the 'Email or Phone' field. (Be sure your email uses the @NDSU.edu and not @NDUS.edu domain).

If you are using your NDSU provided Googel account, you should be redirected to the Central Authorization Page (CAS). Where you will continue the authentication process using your NDSU/NDUS ID.

Then there is NDSU Multifactor Authentication (MFA_. If you haven't configured MFA yet, you can do that on the IT website here https://kb.ndsu.edu/page.php?id=99732
