====== Adding the Kitchen Lanier Copier/Printer ======
==== For Windows 10/11 ====

As of 01/13/2025
  * Brand: Rico
  * Model: IM3500
  * Network ID: prn200.doc-pub.ndsu.edu <color #ed1c24>You may need to enter it's IP instead of FQDN: 10.134.125.24</color>
  * Driver: Follow the new instructions provided by ITS in the link below.
  * Some things are wrong or different with the ITS instructions. You may need to do the following:
    * <color #ed1c24>Skip the part about "On your machine, first launch Make Me Admin to elevate yourself as an administrator and start installing 'Device Software Manager' using your Bison credentials." It's meaningless for the CS Dept.</color>
    * <color #ed1c24>It also may not give you an opportunity to set the printer name. Then you have to do that through Printer Properties in Settings.</color> 
    * <color #ed1c24>If Step 2, on setting job codes, is also incorrect. use the method below.</color>

When printer is installed you will need to add your Dept. printing code. (I don't know your code.)
  - From the start menu... Go to **Settings** --> **Devices** --> **Printers & Scanners**.
  - Click on the printer in the list.
  - Click **Manage**.
  - Click **Printing Preferences**.
  - Switch to the **Basic** tab.
  - Choose **User Code Setting** button found on the top right.
  - Add your printing code in the **User Code** text box.
  - Click the **OK** button.

  * Brand: Lanier

  * Driver: Aficio MP 4002/5002 or Gestetner MP 4002 PCL 6 (Current direct link: https://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/rc3/model/mp42/mp42.htm)
  * Old Instructions have been removed from ITS website.

When printer is installed you will need to add your Dept. printing code.
  - From the start menu... Go to **Settings** --> **Devices** --> **Printers & Scanners**.
  - Click on the printer in the list.
  - Click **Manage**.
  - Click **Printing Preferences**.
  - Switch to the **Detailed Settings** tab.
  - Choose **Job Setup** from the top left menu.
  - In the bottom right area, add your printing code in the **User Code** text box.
  - Click the **OK** button.
